The Construction ESOP Collective is a podcast and newsletter about employee stock ownership plans in the construction industry. It exists because contractors weighing succession have almost nowhere to hear from operators who have actually done it: how an ESOP behaves in a bonded, project-based business, what changes on the jobsite, and what the repurchase obligation really looks like a decade in.

Chuck is SVP of Business Insurance at Christensen Group, a 100% employee-owned brokerage, and has spent more than fifteen years working with construction companies on risk, surety, and insurance. He does not just advise on employee ownership, he works inside an ESOP every day. He hosts the Construction ESOP Podcast and writes the Built to Own newsletter.
